Note: This course is a Math section.
The aim of the STEP courses is to attract students to careers in math & science teaching. University of Houston Master Teachers introduce students to examples of high-quality inquiry-based lessons and model the pedagogical concepts to which they are being introduced. Students are assigned an elementary school Mentor Teacher. They prepare and teach 3 lessons in their Mentor Teacher’s classroom.
