Certification

In order to become certified, students must pass the TExES content test for their level and major they wish to teach, as well as the TExES Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities test for the grade level they wish to teach. To be eligible for these tests, students must pass the corresponding U of H qualifying tests with a score of 240 or better. Once the qualifying tests have been passed, students should proceed to room 112 Farish Hall to register for the official TExES test.
